SOUTHEASTERN PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL, Gadsden Al. the first week of May - all over Gadsden you can watch painters on location painting the historic homes section, Noccalula Falls, the Coosa River, the Strawberry Harvest, and downtown Gadsden on First Friday featuring antique cars. May 4-7, there will be various excursions to scenic locations in the Gadsden area: Historic Homes & Gardens, Noccalula Falls, Working Farms, Downtown Gadsden, on the banks of Coosa River. Later that evening, on May 7th, there will be a Wet Paint Auction. The Plein Air exhibit will run until June 4th with an auction taking place that evening.
